CD One Encourages Community to Support Military
Community to support millitary heros and families
Westchester, IL- May 27th, 2015 – Chicago- based CD One Price Cleaners, an industry leader and franchisor in the dry cleaning industry, is kicking off their 2015 Heroes of the Neighborhood program by partnering with Fisher House for the 2nd consecutive year to help honor military service men and women and their families when they need it most. During this time, participating CD One Price Cleaners stores are also offering free cleaning on U.S. flags and providing uniform discounts to U.S. military, city and suburban fireman and policeman.
Fisher House provides a network of housing and support for families of service members and veterans who are receiving medical care. These homes provide families with a no-cost option to be near their loved-ones while they undergo treatment.
In support of their 2015 Heroes of the Neighborhood program, CD One Price Cleaners is asking their valued customers to donate to Fisher House Foundation and raise awareness for their two houses in Chicago and Minneapolis. Donations are being accepted only by visiting CD One Price Cleaners’ website, www.cdonepricecleaners.com, where a link is provided to make a secure donation to the Fisher House Foundation.
Last year, CD One Price Cleaners partnered with Fisher House for their Flag Mosaic Project, constructing two 4-by-6-foot American flag mosaics that were created using customer-donated photos of military family and members spanning a century.
Anyone interested in donating to CD One’s Fisher House Foundation program is encouraged to visit cdonepricecleaners.com.
